Westmont Hilltop wrestler charged for stealing gun in Lower Yoder Township

CAMBRIA COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Police in Cambria County confirmed a Westmont Hilltop wrestler was charged for stealing a gun at West Hills Fitness in Lower Yoder Township.

Court documents said Ethan Kelly, 18, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property on Tuesday. Both charges were classified as felonies.

His record this year for Westmont was 37-4. He placed third in the 138 pound weight class in the Southwest Regional Class Double-A Tournament in Indiana, PA, last weekend. He qualified for the PIAA Double-A Tournament.

Court documents said Kelly's preliminary hearing is scheduled for March 4.
