New restaurant coming to Johnstown area
JOHNSTOWN, Pa (WJAC) — A local Johnstown investment group is preparing to open a new restaurant in the area next week, according to a press release.
Dominic Chippie, owner of Rizzo's Restaurant in Windber, and Corey Crocco, owner of Flair of Country in Johnstown, have partnered to open "The Fifth Local Eatery and Alehouse."
“We are excited to collaborate on this new restaurant,” says the new owners. “We have great ideas and a strong track record of providing unique, high quality dishes and exceptional customer service.”
The new restaurant is set to open next week, and will be located at the old Alibi location at 1424 Scalp Ave.
According to the press release, the Fifth will offer pub-style food, along with craft beer, drinks and cocktails.
“What great news to have another new restaurant opening in our region,” said Amy Bradley, President and CEO of the Cambria Regional Chamber of Commerce. “The Fifth is a neat collaboration of seasoned restaurateurs who know how to please their customers.”
