ALTOONA – Archway Ministries in Altoona will be hosting a motorcycle run June 4 to benefit their food pantry.

It will be a 100-mile ride starting at the ministry and ending at Ajay’s Tavern. The event goes from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The cost to participate is $15 for drivers and $10 for passengers. All of the money raised goes to support the food pantry, which serves over 200 people every month.

“Some of these people, we are their main source of food,” said Sharon Boslett, food pantry director for the ministry. “They have very low incomes, they have a lot of children that need taken care of and we don’t like to see anyone go hungry. So, especially in this community, in this area, there really isn’t a whole lot for everybody.”

There will also be an after party at Ajay’s for adults only. It’s free for riding participants and $10 for the general public.
