Geistown steakhouse announces closure
GEISTOWN, Pa. (WJAC) — A popular Johnstown steak and alehouse announced it would be closing.
Tulunes Steak and Alehouse located on Lulay Street near Scalp Avenue made the announcement Tuesday in a Facebook post.
“When we began this journey 16 months ago, it was with the goal of providing the Laurel Highlands with a real steak and alehouse. With all the wonderful feedback and great reviews, we feel we accomplished that,” the post read.
The post didn’t offer a date for the closure, but said the restaurant will be closed temporarily and any questions or concerns can be sent to tsa@tulunes.com.
The post read: “Obviously, this is not how we wanted this to end, but we really do want to thank you for all the support and for choosing us for all the loving anniversaries, the happiest of birthdays, family gatherings, first dates, and holidays celebrations.”
We've reached out to the owner of Tulunes Steak and Alehouse, and received the following statement:
We are in the process of working things out with the bank and the investors in an effort to possibly reopen under the TSA name, but at this time we are uncertain of TSA's future. We can say that whether we reopen or not that we are currently looking for a buyer to lease the property or an individual or group to take over the facility.ncG1vNJzZmivmpawtcKNnKamZ56axLR7y6iamqRfpbyxwcuaqWain527tMDOsKVmq6Sarqy0zq6qnmWRo7uwwc2cnKxlk6G8tMHRng%3D%3D
