DuBois Diner adjusts Thanksgiving plans amid COVID-19

Since the start of the pandemic Gary Dandoy, Manager of the DuBois Diner says they've been pretty busy.

With car hop service, takeout, and in house dining, they've been staying afloat.

But with COVID-19, they had to adjust their typical Thanksgiving plans.

"We usually do a massive buffet but this year we couldn't do that so we are doing a special with a turkey dinner, stuffing, mashed potatoes, choice of vegetable salad and dinner roll," said Gary Dandoy, Manager of DuBois Diner.

This $15 turkey dinner is available for takeout or dine in.

For those dining in, he said there are precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

"We all wear masks, all my customers, we sanitize we have different sanitizing stations," he said.

He also said barriers are set up for customers to separate each booth.

Amid the recent statewide COVID-19 guidelines, Dandoy is expecting a busy Thanksgiving.

"We already have over 30 preorders for people coming in to get the food to go so we expect to be quite busy," he said.

The DuBois Diner will be open until 9:00 tonight.
