Coroner IDs victim of fatal Jefferson Township crash

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — Somerset County coroner Cullen Swank has identified the victim of Tuesday's fatal crash in Jefferson Township.
Officials say 20-year-old Kaitlynn Beatty, of Irwin, Pa, was pronounced dead at the scene of a three-vehicle crash just before 10 a.m. Tuesday.
Police say the crash occurred just after 7 a.m. in the area of Glades Pike and Tree Army Road.
Swank says Beatty died from blunt force trauma to the chest.
County emergency officials also confirmed that Beatty was employed as a 911 dispatcher in Somerset County.
State police are still investigating the cause of the deadly crash.

State police in Somerset County say a Westmoreland County woman was reportedly killed in a multi-vehicle crash early Tuesday morning in Jefferson Township.
Investigators say first responders were dispatched to a three-vehicle crash, in the area of Glades Pike and Tree Army Road, just after 7 a.m.
Police say the driver of one of the vehicles, identified as a 20-year-old woman from Mt. Pleasant, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the crash investigation is ongoing.
