'Celebrate our mission:' W.A.C.K. gears up for 13th annual Red Rose Ball set for February

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. (WJAC) — Organizers with the Windber Area Community Kitchen are gearing up for their 13th annual Red Rose Ball.
It's their largest fundraiser of the year and will be held Saturday, February 11th at the Windber Community Building.
W.A.C.K. provides free, home-cooked meals two Saturdays a month while also supporting children through the backpack program.
The event will consist of music, dancing, gift giveaways, auctions, and a meal from Flair of Country Catering.
It's a fun gathering of all the people who support W.A.C.K. consistently, but we're always happy to invite new people into that group too, and to really celebrate this mission," said Board Chair Michael Kovatich.Our very own Sean Eiler will be MC'ing the event for the second year in a row.
You can also stop in to the Calvary United Methodist Church in Windber on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday to get your tickets.
