Blair Co., PA (WJAC) — Altoona police say a Cambria County woman is facing charges of attempted homicide after stabbing another woman at a Blair County apartment complex on Memorial Day.
Police say Jennifer Teeter, 44, faces charges of criminal attempted murder, aggravated assault, and reckless endangerment, according to online court documents.
Investigators say Teeter allegedly stabbed the victim approximately four times following an argument between them outside the Logan Hills Apartment Complex on Monday.
According to the arrest affidavit, witnesses told police that they heard Teeter yelling, "you owe me money " at the victim prior to the stabbing.
Police say the victim was transported to UPMC Altoona with "life-threatening" injuries.
Upon further investigation, police say authorities in Johnstown were able to located Teeter and take her into custody without incident on Tuesday.
She has since been arraigned and is being housed at the Blair County Prison, on $100,000 bail, court dockets show.
Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for June 15.
