Actor Nick Pasqual stabs ex-girlfriend multiple times, prosecutors say
LOS ANGELES (TND) — Actor Nick Pasqual stabbed his estranged girlfriend multiple times in her Los Angeles home, prosecutors announced.
Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón said Pasqual, 34, who had roles in "Rebel Moon", "Poor Paul", and "National Day Riff," attacked the woman. People identified her as Allie Shehorn, a Hollywood makeup artist.
In a news release, Gascón said Pasqual was arrested Wednesday and charged with attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary, and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent. If convicted, the maximum sentence is life in state prison, according to Gascón.
Gascón said Shehorn "had recently filed a restraining order against Pasqual," adding that Pasqual allegedly broke into Shehorn on May 23 around 4:30 a.m. That's when he “inflicted great bodily injury upon the victim under circumstances involving domestic violence” and “personally used a knife during the commission of the crime," the release noted.
Shehorn was hospitalized with serious injuries, Gascón said.
A GoFundMe account created to help Shehorn with her medical expenses noted she underwent several surgeries since the attack.

He will be extradited to Los Angeles County.

An arraignment date has not been scheduled yet, Gascón said. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating the case, he added.
